What is the Science Bowl?
The Science Bowl is a middle school science and math competition in a quiz format. All branches of science, and math are tested in a fast paced verbal format.
The Massachusetts regional competition will be held on Feb 23rd 2019. One or more teams from Diamond will represent the school at the regionals. If they qualify they will then represent Massachusetts in the national competition in April.
Clarke students have done very well in this competition and it is a very popular club at the high school level.

What is Science Olympiad?
The Science Olympiad Team at Wm. Diamond Middle School is for 30 students who are interested in science, engineering, and technology. The team will prepare for the all-day state competition in March 2019 at Assumption College in Worcester. At the state competition, each student competes in 2 to 4 Events; as a team, we compete in a total of 23-24 Events. Last year, our "varsity' team came in second in the state.
